Rivers NAWOJ Mourns Benue Council Chair

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Rivers State Chapter, have mourned the demise of the Benue State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, late Mrs. Victoria Asher who died last weekend.

Asher who was reported to have died during childbirth at Federal Medical Centre, Markudi, Benue State was a member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ and the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ.

They prayed for God to give the family and the media community the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, adding that her soul finds perfect rest in Christ. They also encouraged other members of the Union to keep praying for the safety of one another.
