Rivers Community Nabs Two Suspected Kidnappers

There was jubilation around the Port Harcourt Refinery axis in Rivers State after two yet to be identified suspected kidnappers were apprehended during a failed attempt to kidnap one Mr. Tammy Ibikiberebima of the legal department.
TNN gathered that the two young men who appear to be within the ages of 30 to 35 years barricaded their target, Mr. Ibikiberebima with an AK47 gun and ordered him to enter their vehicle quietly.
Report has it that rather than obey as ordered, the man, who is very popular in his neighbourhood struggled with one of the suspect for the gun and raised alarm for help.

While the struggle was on, a round was fired which attracted boys in the neighbourhood, who came rushing to the location.
On sighting the crowd approaching the scene, the alleged kidnappers hurriedly got into their vehicle and zoomed off, Mr. Ibikiberebima also jumped into his Toyota Hilux in the company of a few boys in his neighbourhood, and gave chase until they were able to apprehend the suspects.
Before being handed over to the police, the suspects were beaten by some angry youths from the neighbourhood, who were aggrieved by the accident.
While Mr. Ibikiberebima was appealing to the youths to stop beating the suspects who were already handcuffed, bruised and ready to be taken to the police, one of the aggrieved youth who witnessed the incident was captured saying to the suspects, “You wan put em family for sorrow, thunder go fire you, thunder go fire una, people dey go out go hustle, fine money, una wan put person family for sorrow, eh! Make him wife come begin dey cry, plus him children go dey cry, you go pay him children school fees? Idiot, thunder go fire una, una go dey blame Buhari, na Buhari make you dey do this one na? thunder fire you.
