Residents Hail Wike Over Infrastructural Development

Barely six days to sign out of office as the governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has continued to receive encomium from members of the public, following his supposed legacy in infrastructural development.
Natives and residents of the oil rich state have described the outgoing governor as the best the state has ever had.
They believe that Wike’s performance in the past eight years has surpassed that of his predecessors since the creation of Rivers State.
According to them, governor Wike deserves to be recognized nationally, as the most performed governor, across the 36 states of the federation.
In an interview with TNN, High Chief Gift Worlu, the Okwurume 1 of Eneka Kingdom, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, rained praises on the governor for the ongoing rehabilitation and commissioning of internal roads in his community.
He described the condition of the state under the current administration as incredible, urging the incoming governor to toe same path.
Worlu continued that, “I am overwhelmed by the level of rehabilitation, projects going on in Eneka. To the glory of God Rumuesara internal roads have been commissioned, just last week, by His Excellency himself, Eneka-OPM Link Road rehabilitation is ongoing. Government Secondary School Eneka is currently undergoing massive revival.
“You know how bad that school was, so you will agree with me that revival is taking place. Is it the Eneka-Igbo Etche road, Rumuoji among others.
“One of my greatest joys is the emergence of Lady Mrs. Emilia Lucky Amadi as member-elect, house of assembly in Obio/Akpor Constituency 11. Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has done well, he has performed well. Just imagine, just few days to leave he is still commissioning, ensuring that projects he awarded are completed, he has done a lot, let his successor do more.”
Also speaking, a former PDP Ward 14 Vice Chairman, Hon. Okey Waka said, “I am overwhelmed. Wike in person is very dodged, he is dodged, gallantry, he is a promise keeper.”
Waka was asked if the governor by his assessment has performed well. His response, “Yes he has performed, ofcourse, he has performed excellently, if there is anything more than excellent, Wike deserves it, he has performed very well.
“I am telling you that he is the best governor Rivers State has ever had, infact, even in the whole Nigeria. I said so.”
