Despite conceding defeat, the Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, appears to still be on the “wanted list” of his political enemies, as revealed by renowned Nigeria cleric, Prophet Ekong Ituen.
The Lagos State based prophet of the Christian Deliverance Ministry, warned Fubara that his political troubles are not yet over.
Ituen urged the governor to seek divine intervention to avert what he described as last minute pitfall and embarrassment.
He urged Fubara to pray against political embarrassment, noting that there are plots to truncate his smooth handing over at the end of his tenure.
Also, the prophet warned that the Rivers governor might be charged for alleged financial misappropriation after his tenure.
His words: “You need divine intervention for a smooth handing-over.
“In my revelation, I saw another trouble looming. There is a political pitfall awaiting you.
“Pray against political embarrassment before the end of your tenure. Additionally, as reflected in the spiritual realm; Governor Fubara will be charged for alleged financial misappropriation after his tenure.”
Ituen, known for his yearly prophecies, had in January 5, this year, expressed dismay that Fubara neglected his several spiritual directives to safeguard his political future.
Then he warned the governor as reflected in the spiritual realm, that either he will be impeached or deny ticket for second term.
Meanwhile, in January 9, 2024, Ituen stated that “the political future of Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State is very dicey, I urge him to ignore political sycophants and urgently make peace with Barr. Nyesom Wike, to avert impending political embarrassment awaiting him.
“Despite President Tinubu’s intervention in Rivers State political crisis; I forsee political wrangling ahead that will affect the governance of the State.”
