Premature Boy Dumped In Drainage In PH

The discovery of a premature boy, who was found dead inside a gutter infront of a compound at 16 Ogbuagu Street, Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt, has thrown residents into a terrible shock.

The little child was discovered by a resident on Friday, who then alerted the landlord of the compound.

Speaking to newsmen about the incident, the landlord, Mr. Ogechi Ehirim, who spoke in pidgin english explained that, “this morning I come out for front of my yard, because every morning I dey like do clean up for front of my yard.

“So, I come out this morning dey do cleanup for gutter wey dey infront of my yard, I see small baby inside the gutter, I think say na dull baby, I leave am commot.

“Somebody come call me say make I come see, say that thing wey I see no be dull baby, say na human being, em get navel, I said ah ah, who go come drop this kind thing for here? Every morning I dey do cleanup, yesterday I do cleanup I no see something like this.

“I say make I check, when I bring am out na small baby wey dey there.”

Ehirim then called on the state Police command and the members of the public ” to help me find out who get the baby, I don find tire for my street nobody answer me say na em get the baby.”

He further revealed that”since wey I buy this my yard I never get rest of mind, God give me money to buy yard I know know wetin I do people for this street wey I buy yard. Every corner them dey pushy me.

“Sometimes I no go fit sleep, I go dey sleep for night pussy go dey cry for my window, sometimes I go come out for my yard I go see another thing wey I no expect.

“I no understand wetin dey happen, I dey beg everybody make them help me out, I no do bad thing to buy yard, since wey I buy the yard I never get rest of mind, I dey beg everybody make them help me, nothing I do people for this yard wey I buy, I no dey owe anybody, I no thief money buy am, na God bless me I buy the yard.”

Meanwhile, the landlord has reported the incident to Nkpolu Police Division at RSU roundabout, Port Harcourt.
