1 min read

Despite criticism, some men of the Nigerian Police appear to be adhering to the social distancing policy of the World Health Organisation as they carry out their duties especially at check points.

A picture of a policeman on duty which has already gone viral on the internet shows how a policeman has been able to relate with road users, without getting too close, but at the same time, discharging his expected duties.

This is coming just as the new police commissioner in Rivers State, Mr Joseph Mukam has said that his men were not responsible for collecting of bribe on the borders, as there were many people from other security agencies who were involved at the various entry and exit points.

According to him, policemen were properly behaved and could not have been responsible for allowing people into and out of the state
