Owan-Enoh Foundation Holds Diabetes Walk Awareness

In a bid to ensure a diabetes free society, senator John Owan Enoh Diabetes Foundation, JOEF, held a diabetes awareness walk on Monday, to sensitize residence of Calabar metropolis, Cross River State.
The walk which was organized by JOEF was to mark the world’s diabetes day. TNN gathered that the walk started from 11/11 roundabout down to Calabar municipal council.
The diabetes awareness walk, led by the founder of JOEF, Senator John Owan Enoh and the governor of the state, Prof. Ben Ayade, who was represented by his deputy, Prof. Ivara Esu attracted dignitaries from all works of life.
Others who joined in the walk out diabetes walk includes the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Barr. Alfonsus Eba, the Commissioner for lands and urban development, Prof. John Ofem Inyang, commissioner for health, Dr Betta Edu who was represented by Dr. Iwara Iwara among several others.
