Our Plans For Traveling Public-Bayelsa Airline

Bayelsa State indigenous airline, Pioneer Airline, has promised better aviation services for Bayelsa and the South South region of Nigeria after officially securing its commercial Air Operation Certificate (AOC) from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

The Managing Director of Pioneer Airline, Captain Henry Ungbuku, made the promise during a live programme on radio which was monitored by our correspondent.

According to Ungbuku, the pioneer airline as an indigenous Izon airline would focus on connecting the South South region as a priority.

Ungbuku expressed gratitude to the governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, for his immense contribution towards bringing pioneer airline into existence.

The MD maintained that the airline has the vision of empowering Bayelsans in the aviation space by training and employing more persons in the state.

Ungbuku clarified that the Airline is privately owned, and it only manages aircrafts, purchased by Bayelsa State government.
