Otu Appoints 24 New Permanent Secretaries

Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has appointed 24 permanent secretaries into the civil service. This was disclosed in a public service announcement issued on Thursday by Nsa Gill, Chief Press Secretary to the governor.
According to Gill, the appointments were based on recommendations and subsequent appointment of the secretaries, who are senior directors for appointment as permanent Secretaries in the State Civil and Public Service.
It reads: “Acting upon his powers as the Governor and in line with the rules of the State Civil/Public Service, his Excellency the Governor of Cross River State, senator Prince Bassey Otu as approved the recommendation and subsequent appointment of the under listed persons who are senior directors for Appointment as permanent Secretaries in the Cross River State Civil/Public Service.
“The recommended list of senior directors are as follows: Bassey Onoyom Bassey, Offiong Ani Offiong, Joseph Ikongha Odey, Okom Ayang Oyira, Hellen Oyem Bessong, Engr Paul Bepeh, Rita Asihibiye E, Eyo Ekpe Offiong, Gold Okpo Ita, Caroline Enembe Edet, Balnwo Ofem Ofegobi, Dr Jonah Bassey Offor.
“Others include: Glory Aki Odu-Oji, Ekpenyong M Esuabana, Eyibio Kingsley ndem, Philomena Nyire N, Barr Francis Adebe Ojife, Gabriel Ogbaji Utwadia, Engr Okon Ita, Dr Eke J Okon, Odu Gertrude Bukie, Jacqueline Banku A, Barr Lucy Bassey E, Ettah Inyang Eyo.”
