Mother of Three Arrested for Killing Husband, Side Chic In Delta

A mother of three, identified simply as Mary (surname withheld), has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for allegedly killing two people and injuring a neighbour.

The incident reportedly occurred during a confrontation between Mary, her husband, and his side chic over alleged infidelity.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions on social media and within the community, with residents expressing shock and disbelief over the attack.

A resident of Port Harcourt, Mr. Sunday Elijah, condemned the act, saying, “what will the woman gain after killing two people and injuring a neighbor? How was she able to do it—was her hand not shaking after killing one person? Now, what will happen to the children, because she will face justice for her actions.

“Just imagine—a neighbour lost her life simply for trying to do the right thing. This is all attributed to anger issues. If not for anger, she wouldn’t have acted this way. Sometimes when people are told about who their partner is dating, they confuse it with love. I know the woman was angry that her husband was seeing another woman, but it is never worth taking a life.

“She ended lives in just a few minutes of anger.”

Another resident, Mr. Emmanuel Thomas, expressed sympathy for the side chick, saying, “I really feel sorry for the side chic because she hadn’t achieved much.

“The man has three children, and his lineage will continue, but why do women take side chics so seriously? When they were single, they had more than one boyfriend.

“I do not support a husband cheating, but taking a life because of it is wrong. Now the husband is dead, the children have lost their father, and with the woman arrested, it will be difficult for her to be there for her kids. Anger is a dangerous disease, and it has claimed the life of an innocent neighbor as well. This is very sad.”

In a video that has since gone viral, the woman allegedly stated, “I don’t know what entered me that day. I don’t know what happened to me.”
The Delta State Police have taken her into custody, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the killings.
