How Saidu Mobilised Northerners For Tinubu’s Visit

National chairman of the Arewa Initiative for Peaceful Co-existence in Southern Nigeria, Alhaji Musa Saidu has said he had to mobilise northerners resident in the southern part of the country to welcome the president, Senator Bola Tinubu to Bayelsa State as a mark of respect for the president.

He also said the northerners were appreciative of the achievements of the Bayelsa State governor, Senator Douye Diri, whom he said had taken service delivery to a higher level and deserved to be supported.

Saidu said in an interview on Saturday that Tinubu’s visit to Bayelsa to inaugurate projects was a good omen for the state and the region. He said his kinsmen were proud to identify with the president and also with the people of Bayelsa State.

The Arewa leader noted the landmark projects executed by Diri, including roads and bridges as well as the gas turbine, saying the governor was setting the stage for industrial revolution in the state.

He said northerners in the south would always live in peace and do those things that would promote brotherhood, and congratulated Diri for successfully hosting the president, all the governors and other dignitaries that thronged the state.
