House of Fame Naija: Akwa Prophet Risks Eviction

Shortly after scores of supporters went on a rally round the city of Port Harcourt canvassing support for popular PH based cinematographer; Edidiong Sunday George, always known as Akwa Prophet, the homourist is now up for eviction from the prestigious House of Fame Naija Reality TV show.
The CEO, Akwa Prophet Entertainment who is among the seven remaining contestants battling for the crown was sent on eviction after their cultural display yesterday night which leaves him in the 50-50 chance of leaving or staying.
The Akwa Ibom born graduate of the University of Port Harcourt and host of funny country and skit provider spoke with TNN in a brief interview.
“Mennnnnn, I cannot go like that even if I know that I cannot come and kill myself. I am up for eviction from tomorrow, December 16, what I need is support, it’s a dream come true, I wouldn’t want it to end like this.
“I appreciate my fans in Port Harcourt, Akwa Ibom my state, Cross River, Bayelsa, here in Benin City-Edo State and all over Nigeria and beyond. I was wowed when I saw pictures, received calls that people were marching and publicizing me, canvassing for votes on my behalf, I was really inspirited, leaving here will be dashing the hopes of those who believe in me.”
The ribs cracker who made a request to TNN said, “Just be singing it is well, it is well, it is well with Akwa Prophet, it is well in Jesus Name.”
He added that though bringing the crown home means so much but reiterated that nothing surpasses the support, love and care Nigerians and friends outside Nigeria have showed him especially since he joined the entertainment industry.
Akwa further called on Nigerians, friends in and outside the industry, mentors, “I want to appeal to Nigerians, friends, mentors, family, churches to please support me, my fellow contestants are good, I believe that only God and your support can see me through.”
