The 21st Century Youths of Niger Delta and Agitators with Conscience (21st CYNDAC) has described as unfounded, allegations of manipulation and abuse of power, made against High Chief Government Oweizidei Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo and Tantita Security Services.
The Niger Delta group condemned the claim that Tompolo was leveraging his position in pipeline surveillance to target rivals and consolidate control over lucrative security contracts.
They insisted that no amount of misinformation, baseless accusations, or character assassination can undermine the significant progress Tompolo has made across the Niger Delta.
A statement made available on Sunday, read “the plenty lies of Ebikimen Tokowei of the so called faceless Niger Delta mandate group and the false narratives from the Ekeni eleven, can not stop Tompolo neither Tantita from doing their job of clubbing oil theft and exposing nefarious activities of there sponsors of Evil deeds against the Niger Delta region and it’s people.
“The 21st century youths of Niger Delta and Agitators with Conscience ( 21st CYNDAC ) unequivocally condemn the recent allegations leveled against High Chief Government Oweizidei Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo and Tantita surveillance security outfit by one Ebikimen Tokowei of a faceless Niger Delta mandate group and the gullible Ekeni eleven that was released from detention because of oil theft.
“The false narratives by the Ekeni eleven has further expose the hatred and jealousy by some disgruntled ex militants leaders from Bayelsa state sponsoring this gullible youths of Ekeni Kingdom to give false narratives to hoodwink the general public and government agencies against Tompolo and Tantita security services, will not change anything neither change the fact that you guys are oil thieves not fishermen.
“There is no amount of propaganda, falsehood, baseless allegations and character defamation that can thwart the progress that Tompolo has ignited across the Niger Delta region. It is not only the Niger Delta that bears witness to the fact that Tompolo rise to national and global prominence was forged through perseverance, selfless service and unwavering dedication to Nigerian state. These rare qualities have earned him deserved recognition both domestically and internationally.
21st CYNDAC emphasized that “Tompolo”s collaboration with the Nigeria security agencies to combat insecurity, piracy, pipeline vandalism and economic sabotage in our territorial waterways marked a paradigm shift in security operations in the Niger Delta region.
“Since his official engagement, he and his operatives have remained professional and steadfast in fulfilling their obligations with remarkable efficiency and fidelity. This consistency has warranted the government’s continued confidence, demonstrated by the periodic renewal of his security contract.
“However, this success has incited resentment among a selected group of unscrupulous ex militants leaders who, upon realizing the reward of Tompolo commitment, attempted unsuccessfully to usurp his position through clandestine negotiations with the federal government. Lacking merit and integrity, their efforts failed, in retaliation, they launched a smear campaign, sponsored the Ekeni eleven, betraying their own brother and leader in the struggle, Tompolo and undermine a cause they once aligned with.
“Isolated in their individual failures, they coalesced into faceless individuals and oil thieves sponsoring various groups of detractors and criminals that Tompolo has spent years confronting. This toxic alliance ensures a continuous stream of resources to fuel their campaign of misinformation, distraction and lies to hoodwink the general public.
“The 21st CYNDAC therefore hold it as a duty as agitators for the peace and development of the Niger Delta region and it’s people to tell the truth that the so called Ekeni eleven are sponsored by an ex militant leader who is fighting tooth and nail to be awarded the section of Bayelsa state so he can front for his colleagues in there nefarious business of bunkery . We therefore call on Mr president to ignore their antics because in Tompolo, we find a symbol of transformation, his record resound more authoritatively than the dissonant voices of those threatened by his success.
“The path forward is unmistakable support for effective leadership, defense initiatives that safeguard national assets and celebrate progress of a visionary leadership and truthfulness . The 21st CYNDAC stand with High Chief Government Oweizidei Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo and the Tantita pipeline surveillance security outfit for making the Ijaw Nation and the Niger Delta proud. We therefore use this medium to warm Ebikimen Tokowei.”
They further warned: “Ebikimen Tokowei should desist from this evil trade or risk incurring the wrath of the gods”
