It was celebration galore at Emohua, Rivers State, following the donation of a 350 capacity hall to the Emohua Council of Traditional Rulers, known as Ohna Emohua, by Chief Sergeant Awuse, a chieftain of the PDP.
The already furnished and air-conditioned 350 capacity hall “Obiri Ohna Emohua” also has toilet facilities with a running water system and a public address system with a standby power generating set.
The hall which is situated at the former Emohua central market, ‘Ahia-Ezi’, is to serve as the new secretariat for members of Emohua traditional rulers council under the leadership of the paramount ruler of Emohua Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Eze V.C.B Okor, the Nnenwe-Eli Emohua.
According to Awuse, the hall was built to provide comfort for meetings and other activities of members of the traditional rulers’ council.
Awuse who is also a member of Emohua traditional rulers’ council dedicated the building to God almighty for providing the resources with which the building was constructed before handing it over to the Emohua Council of traditional rulers.
The traditional rulers eulogized the elder statesman for the gift and prayed God to bless him with more wealth and wisdom to continue to champion the development of Emohua.
