A foremost business tycoon in Cross River State, Chief Asuquo Ekpenyong is to lead the transition committee in the state, with Fidelis Ugbo, a technocrat, serving as secretary. The committee has five other members.
Also, a former senate leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba is to coordinate the committee that will organise the inauguration of the governor-elect, Senator Bassey Otu.
Special Adviser to the out-going governor on Media and Publicity, Mr Christian Ita, who announced the composition of the various committees on Thursday, however, said it was a draft list and that anyone who felt uncomfortable with their nomination was free to indicate.

Other members of the transition committee include a former governorship aspirant, Senator John Owan Enoh, who had given Otu a tough legal fight until the president –elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu told him to withdraw his case from the court.
The others include the state party chairman, Alphonsus Eba, chief of staff to Ayade, Chief Martins Orim, a former commissioner of information in the state, Obol Akin Ricketts and Princess Titi Ndifon.
Owan Enoh was also listed as member of the inauguration committee, alongside a former vice chancellor of UNICAL and one-time senate aspirant, Prof Zana Akpagu, the APC national women leader, Dr Betta Edu, a business executive and former governorship aspirant, Chief Chris Agara, as well as Ita himself, among others.
The legal and legislative committee is to be headed by a former attorney-general and justice commissioner, Eyo Ekpo, with a former presidential adviser, Okoi Obono Obla and a former secretary of the Atam Congress, Utu Eteng as members.
Senator Florence Ita-Giwa is to serve as chairman of the reception committee. She is to work with 40 other members, among them, the managing director of Axari Hotel and former lands and housing commissioner, Bassey Ndem.
