A combined force of Senator Seriake Dickson and Senator Douye Diri has humbled Chief Timipre Sylva in the Sagbama Local Government, giving victory to Ddiri who scored 35,504 votes, against Sylva’s 6,608 votes.
Just like it happened in the Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area, Sylva was unable to secure 25 per cent of the votes in Sagbama, where Dickson comes from.
With this latest result as announced on Sunday at the state collation centre in Yenagoa, Diri has so far won in four out of the eight the local governments where results have so far been announced.
