Regardless of the alleged deteriorating health condition of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming 2023 general elections in Nigeria, Bole Ahmed Tinubu, which has continued to generate ripples, stakeholders have vehemently reiterated the party’s readiness to win all contested positions, especially in the federal level and Rivers State.
The APC flagbearer for the presidency was captured in a purported photo, which allegedly reveals that he is very sick and currently hospitalized in the United Kingdom where he is believed to be undergoing treatment.
But Gabriel Amaewhule Chuku, a staunch member of the APC, in ward 14, unit 12, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state, told TNN in this exclusive interview that, “in the area of the presidency, the All Progressives Congress is rest assured of victory come February, 2023 election, our candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been earmarked to be the next president of the federal republic of Nigeria, as agreed by God, and by the election that will come soon, so we are sure of victory come 2023.”
For the gubernatorial race, he said: “In the area of Rivers State in particular, Pastor Tonye Cole, the flagbearer of APC will win. It is the turn of All Progressives Congress in Rivers State to take head of leadership and we are sure that 2023, Pastor Tonye Cole will be in the Brick House.
“The era of using court to deny our name in been on the ballot paper have come and gone, this time around it won’t work because all those machineries they have used in judiciary can no longer function again, God will defeat them and deform them. So, we are rest assured, all what happened in the past election cannot repeat itself anymore no matter the contact Wike has, Wike has lost. It is our turn in Rivers State, All Progressives Congress to emerge and we shall emerge.”
