Cross River Swimmers To Get Big Boost

Delighted by the excellent performance of the Cross River State Swimmers in national competitions in recent times, the state chairman Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing Association/Aquatics, Sir Alfred Mboto (KSM) has promised to provide more incentives to encourage more youths to embrace swimming in the State.
Revealing the plans to TNN sports in Calabar, Mboto said the association was embarking on aggressive talents hunt with a view to discovering more talents in all nooks and crannies of the state.
The development according to him will pave the way for the state to produce quality swimmers who will be a strong force in the country and beyond.
The chairman assured the swimmers that all those who did the State proud will be rewarded stressing that he will do his best to motivate them to do more.
He called on the youths in the State to take the advantage of the sport and impact their lives positively.
