C’River: Assembly Candidate Solicits Support, Splurges N2m On Constituents

The All Progressives Congress Candidate for Yakurr 1 State Constituency in Cross River State, Mr Cyril James Omini, has donated the sum of one million Naira to the leadership and people of Ekori and another one million naira to the Unebu community in Ugep for the provision of Street Lighting in the community.
The APC Candidate, Cyril Omini, made the donations when he joined the campaign train of the National Assembly Candidates of Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams and Dr Alex Egbona, who are candidates for Senate, Central Senatorial District and House of Representatives respectively, both from the Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency.

Cyril, who is himself seeking the mandate to represent the constituency which consists of Ugep, Idomi and Ekori, while addressing the people of Ekori, reminded them of his commitment to provide quality legislative fireworks and support education for the improvement of education of their children and people in general.
“We want our children to go to school, those people we call PDP, they don’t want our children to go to school, but we APC, we want our children to be educated. We have long realised that education is the key, the way to push our young ones forward: our elections is coming so please ensure you support us to make things better for our people”, Omini solicited.

He disclosed that he has already set in motion free Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB) Registration exercises to alleviate the cost of attaining higher education, adding that he hopes that when elected he will broaden the horizon of assistance to enable more young people to get succour.
Moreso, while speaking to an enthusiastic crowd of supporters that thronged his home, the people’s candidate expressed sadness over the deplorable state of roads in the area and assured constituents that if elected he will ensure that the Constituency is captured in the state’s rural project master plan.
