The Movement for the Survival of the Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta MOSIEND, Nyemoni Clan, Eastern Zone in Rivers State, has encouraged the governor of the state, Sir Siminalayi Fubara to continue in his good works.

MOSIEND in a release made available to newsmen by the Nyemoni Clan, Eastern Zone Chairman, Mr. Simeon Don Pedro and Secretary, Mr. Fyneface Iyenemi, urged Fubara to remain focused and committed to the progress and development of the state.

The renowned socio-cultural pressure group in the oil rich Niger Delta region expressed satisfaction over Fubara’s victory at the Supreme Court, describing it as the will of God for the people of the state.

Stressing that power can only be given by God, the group urged aggrieved opposition party members to eschew their grievances and support the governor in his determination to move the state forward.

According to them “this victory is from God and it gives us so much joy. We want to urge you our dear governor to stay focused, committed to the will and progress of the state. Sir, continue with your good work.”

They further thanked the governorship candidate of Accord Party in the just concluded 2023 elections, Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Pastor Tonye Cole.

To Lulu Briggs, MOSIEND expressed gratitude over what they described as his strategic support for the state and the people, while commending Cole for “accepting the verdict of the Apex court in good faith and displaying sportsmanship as well as his pledge to work with the governor in developing the State.

“We thanked Alabo Dumo Lulu-Briggs and Pastor Tonye Cole for their commitment to work with the governor in developing our State”

“We also use this medium to appreciate the secretary to the state government, Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, Chief, Hon. David T. Briggs and Chief Hon. Theodore Georgewill for standing firm with the governor, Sir Siminalayi Joseph Fubara in moving the state to a greater height.”
