Governorship candidate of the PDP in Cross River State, Senator Sandy Onor on Monday visited Ekureku community to sympathise with the people over the outbreak of cholera which led to the death of many of the villagers.
Onor who was accompanied to the village by his running mate, Mrs Emana Duke Amawhe and other political associates said he felt sad on hearing of the devastating effect of the epidemic in the area.

The senator who represents the Cross River Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly told the people to be courageous and hold fast unto God and remain prayerful to avoid a repeat of such a disastrous occurrence.
At the palace of the clan head of Ekureku, Eval Kpogor, the senator said he would do his best to assist the community in connection with the epidemic.
Responding, the traditional ruler thanked Onor for the visit and said it was encouraging to receive him in his palace in such a trying moment.
