Calabar Mall Collapses

Activities at the Calabar Mall otherwise known as Spar Nigeria were brought to a halt on Thursday afternoon as some parts of the building collapsed, leading to the destruction of some cars parked at the premises of the shopping mall as well as other valuables.
According to eyewitness reports, the incident which occurred at some minutes before 4 pm was unexpected as there was no wind or storm at the time of the occurrence.

It was also confirmed that no life was lost. Efforts made to reach to the management of the mall and the Cross River State Emergency Management Agency proved abortive at the time of filling this report.
