Bayelsa CP Consoles Chief Judge Over Husband’s Demise

The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police (CP), Ajao Adewale, on Friday, paid a condolence visit to the Chief Judge of State, Justice Matilda Abrakasa Ayemieye, following the death of her husband, Elder Freeman Ayemieye, who passed on on October, 1st, 2026.

Speaking on behalf of the officers and men of the State Command, the Commissioner expressed heartfelt sympathy to the chief judge and the Ayemieye family.

He described the loss of a life partner as deeply painful and assured the family of the command’s thoughts and prayers.

Ajao also acknowledged the chief Judge’s warm and constructive working relationship with the police command.

He commended her commitment to the administration of justice and the cooperation between the judiciary and the police, which has helped both institutions serve the people of Bayelsa State effectively.

In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Musa Mohammed, the commissioner of police prayed that God grants Elder Freeman Ayemieye peaceful repose and gives Her Lordship and the entire family strength and comfort at this difficult time.
