AVM Edem Golf Tournament Gets Feb 13 Date

The Calabar Golf Club will be a beehive of activities starting from Friday February 12 to Sunday February 14, 2021 when golfers from various Golf Clubs across the country will take to the course for late AVM Emmanuel Edem 2nd Memorial Amateur Open Golf tournament.

According to the chairman organizing committee of the competition, Mr. Igbe Aruku, the 2-day event which will hold at the Calabar golf course, will attract amateur golfers across the country adding that invitation letters to the various clubs had since been dispatched.

He revealed that Friday, February 12, 2021 would be registration of golfers for the tourney and cocktail party while Saturday, February 13 and Sunday February 14 are for the main events.
TNN Sports gathered that lot of good prizes are up for grabs at the end of the competition.

The big championship is sponsored by Mrs. Bernadette Edem, wife of late AVM Emmanuel Edem.
AVM Emmanuel Edem who died three years ago at the age of 73, was the chairman board of trustee of the Calabar Golf Club.
