Rivers State governor, Sim Fubara, is returning to Port Harcourt this Friday morning, TNN can confirm.

On Thursday, when he was expected to resume after the emergency rule was called off, the governor did not show up.
The crowd that waited for him at the Government House as early as 6am, had to disperse when it became clear that he was not going to return.

But on Friday, TNN learnt that the governor was making his way to Port Harcourt.
As early as 6am, a large crowd had already gathered at the Port Harcourt International Airport to receive him.
Some of his personal aides and security personnel also said to be heading towards the airport to wait for his arrival.
