Afro Pop Artiste Premieres Music Video, Prayer,

Port Harcourt entertainment industry is on a shut down following the latest video release, Prayer, by fast rising Afro pop singer, Owojaiye Temidayo Peter, popularly known as D-Yong Owojaiye where he featured PH based astounding artiste, Emjays
The amazing music producer and song writer overwhelmingly expressed excitement over the recent development which he described as “on the part to fulfilling destiny.”
He told TNN Entertainment that “this video means a lot to me, it’s a true life story of the journey to success. The lyrics is clear, very clear message, striving as an artiste in the entertainment industry is really no joke, only Oluwa can lead you through.
“I have several singles and other videos but there is something about this one, Prayer, (Sings some lyrics) Oluwa cover me o o o o, say na my prayer this year I no go borrow, borrow, na my prayer this year I no go follow, follow, this my success next move eh go shock you, Oluwa shower me your blessings like cooly water o o o. so, so come today, come tomorrow, watin I dey hear me I don dey sorrow, come today, come tomorrow, watin I dey hear me I don dey sorrow, every day me I dey pray, pray, na when you hustle eh go pay, pay (laughs).
D-Yong, who spoke on the inspiration behind his fans most adored singles including – Telemi, featuring Young Pimp; Why, featuring Richman, This Year featuring Dr Barz- stressed that associating with like minds has made his journey in the industry interesting even amidst the challenges, adding that the recent artiste he featured in his songs have earned him more commendation than criticism.
Speaking on why a secular musician like him will tag God as his inspiration, he said “secular music is never a barrier. I do inspirational songs. I pass my messages appropriately; my messages are in line with moral standards. That’s what I do.
The computer science graduate of Federal Polytechnic, Idah in Kogi State described music as a chosen career, not just a hobby, stressing that through music he will achieve every of his goals in life.
Describing his ugly experiences in the entertainment industry when he started, he said: “As an upcoming artiste, it’s not been easy, you get to an event and organizers shout and push you aside, telling you no chance for any artiste, so embarrassing, but it’s a phase that has ended, I felt terrible but I know those are steps to greatness, it’s a story to tell as we keep getting better. I have no regrets at all.”
