Professional Hunters Association of Nigeria (PROHAN) say they have apprehended one Godgift Daniel for allegedly attempting to snatch a car along New Haven Road, Agbura in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
The 41-year old suspected car snatcher from Imo State who resides in Tombia community was said to be in company of another culprit who is now at large after attempting to snatch a Toyota RAV4 and a Toyota Camry Saloon car.
State Commandant of PROHAN, Ogah Mehamia said the suspects took to their heels on sighting their patrol van.
He narrated that they immediately gave the escaping suspects a hot chase which resulted in the arrest of Daniel while the yet to be identified suspect escaped.
Meanwhile, the Zonal Commander of PROHAN, Kenbo Sidiakeme said the suspect has been handed over to the Azikoro Division of the Nigeria Police, adding that efforts were ongoing to arrest the fleeing suspect.
He stressed that PROHAN will continue to collaborate with other security agencies to ensure a crime free Bayelsa State.
