Barring any last minute change of mind by the Rivers State governor, Sim Fubara, his latest nominee for appointment as commissioner, Mr Dagogo Iboroma, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, is to be sent to the ministry of justice.
He is to be screened and is very likely to be cleared on Monday by the state house of assembly who has already invited him to appear before them at their temporary chambers, according to a letter by the clerk, G.M.Gills-West.
A native of Okrika, Iboroma is currently the managing solicitor at Kehinde Associates, Port Harcourt. He attended the Baptist High School, Port Harcourt, before moving to the state university of science and technology where he studied law.
He rose to the rank of SAN about two years ago and I believed to be very grounded in legal matters. He will be joining the state executive council at a time that the state is going through a plethora of legal challenges.
His fans, classmates and other associates are already congratulating him and wishing him well ahead of a very challenging assignment he is expected to face on resumption of duties.
