2023: New Political Party Emerges In Rivers, Plans To Take Over Brick House

As activities gradually intensify ahead of 2023 political season, a new political party, National Rescue Movement, NRM, has emerged in Rivers State, with hopes to edge out the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state.
The NRM state secretariat, located at 3 Bimkol Crescent road, Greg Ogbeifun street, was commissioned last weekend.

Commissioning the secretariat, the National Secretary of the party and political activist, High Chief Sobomabo Jackrich said the party was on a mission to rescue the state from political and economic strangulation deliberately unleashed on the people by the PDP led government.
The party national secretary further sent an invitation to the people of the state to join his party.
He said, “those who are tired of the high handedness exhibited in all sectors of the economy and at various levels of government of the state by the Wike-led state government should come on board to enthrone a credible government that will prioritize the interest of the people above their personal interests.”
Jackrich added that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, National Headquarters has approved the constitution of the Caretaker Committee of National Rescue Movement, Rivers State Chapter.
