Diri Declares Self Winner Of Guber Polls

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has declared himself winner of the Bayelsa State governorship election held on Saturday, November 16 in which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief David Lyon.
“INEC should declare me the winner of the just concluded governorship election in Bayelsa. INEC you should look the other way around.”
Diri made the claim during a press briefing in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, stating that he got the results through the situation rooms of the party set up by his party across the state during the gubernatorial election.
“I am no longer a candidate, I am indeed, the governor-elect,” Diri emphasized when the MC addressed him as PDP governorship candidate, alleging that the results that were declared by INEC were a charade.
