A sociocultural youth organization, Ohanaeze Youth Council OYC, has declared that any Igbo person who fails to enrol in the permanent voters’ card PVC is an arch-enemy of the Igbo extraction and a saboteur to the economic development and political advancement of Ndigbo.

In a statement on Sunday, OYC National President, Mr Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, lamented over what he described as low turnout for continuous voter registration, especially in the Southeast Geopolitical Zone.

He urged natives of the Igbo extraction to convert their population across Nigeria into political capital.

His words: “It is imperative that Ndigbo, who are largely marginalized and oppressed, take proactive steps to register for a permanent Voters Card (PVC) at the nearest Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office, thereby preparing themselves for a ballot revolution, a political storm, and a tsunami that will have far-reaching consequences for all political oppressors, profiteers, and saboteurs in Igboland.”

The OYC president claimed that “those who have managed the political affairs of Ndigbo since 1999 are deemed ineffective, oppressive, and exploitative, looters prioritizing the interests of their families and associates over their responsibilities for the collective economic development of Alaigbo.
