Determined to secure victory for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term ambition in the forthcoming 2027 election, the Bayelsa State governor, Senator Douye Diri, has charged members of the All Progressives Congress APC, in the state to shelve personal political ambitions.
Diri gave this charge while inaugurating coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors RHA, in the eight local government areas, where he urged them to focus on Tinubu’s second term re-election bid.
He emphasized need for leaders of the party to shun divisive tendencies, rather ensure unity of purpose and success in their various wards and local government areas.
The Bayelsa helmsman charged the local government coordinators to mobilise members of the party for the ward, local government and state congresses and ensure success for the APC at all levels, while reaffirming that Chief Tiwei Orunimighe, remained the state coordinator.
Those inaugurated as RHA local government coordinators are Kuro Matthias Nyenye (Nembe), Dr. Godson Torukuru (Yenagoa), Uroh Kiani (Brass) and Mr. Biewari Orupeighe (Southern Ijaw)
