How Uyo Prophet’s Predictions on Pandemic, Death of Nollywood Stars Came To Pass

Predictions by an Uyo based prophet, Senior Prophet Victor Elijah Willie, about the outbreak of a pandemic that may be worse than COVID 19 appear to have come to pass, with recent reports of a strange ailment as well as the excessive heat across the country.

The prophet had also predicted that between October when he made the predictions and the end of the year, no fewer than 10 Nollywood actors would die. Again, the prediction may have come to pass, with the death of about 12 of the actors.

Willie, General Overseer of The Knowledge of God Family Church of All Nations had said that “the disease would come in the form of skin rashes but will kill so many people, even faster than COVID-19. Other symptoms of the disease would be reddishness of the eyes like the popular ‘appollo’ and excessive body heat.

After COVID, Uyo Prophet Says another Pandemic underway

“God told me that between November and December this year, that is, in the next one to two months, a very small sickness will enter Nigeria that will kill so many people. Heat and catarrh will come. Apollo is coming again that will spoil peoples’ eyes. It comes from evil forces.”

Just recently, the World Health Organization, WHO, as well as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, raised the alarm on the increase in dengue infections recorded in 2023 globally, which, it said, represented a potentially high public health threat.

The UN health agency reported that more than five million dengue infections and 5,000 deaths from the disease worldwide in 2023. Briefing journalists at the UN headquarters in Geneva, Dr. Diana Rojas Alvarez, WHO Team Lead on Arboviruses, said the threat required maximal attention.

Alvarez said the threat also required response from all levels of the UN health agency to support countries in controlling current dengue outbreaks and prepare for the upcoming dengue season. Dengue is the most common viral infection transmitted to humans bitten by infected mosquitoes. It is mostly found in urban areas within tropical and sub-tropical climates.

Only recently, the NCDC said it has recorded 1,095 Lassa fever cases across 113 Local Government Areas in 28 states. The NCDC revealed this in its Lassa Fever situation report for week 41 (October 9 -15, 2023), released.

Lassa fever is an acute viral haemorrhagic illness caused by the Lassa virus. The NCDC said the suspected cases were now 7,724 and that the disease had killed no fewer than 188 persons in the country.

“Cumulatively from week 1 to week 41, 2023, 188 deaths have been reported with a Case Fatality Rate of 17.2 per cent which is lower than the CFR for the same period in 2022 (18.9 per cent). In total for 2023, 28 States have recorded at least one confirmed case across 113 LGAs.

Meanwhile, the number of suspected cases increased compared to that reported for the same period in 2022.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, the current change in weather/atmosphere across the country is not harmattan, but an extreme form of air pollution with dire consequences on human health.
