A’Ibom, Bayelsa, C’River, Rivers Govs Yet To Match Dev With N1trn Receipts In Two Years

Three of the south-south governors, Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom, Ben Ayade of Cross River and Nyesom Wike of Rivers State have spent two years in office already.  For Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, the day marks a year and three months since he was sworn in on February 14, 2016, for a second term of four years in office, meaning he has already done over five years in office as governor.

Group Condemns Protests At Otueke Varsity

A group under the aegis of Concerned Federal University Otueke, Alliance for Productivity (CFUAP) has concontemned in strong teams the protest that disrupted academic activities at the Federal University, Otueke in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa state on 25th May, 2017, over the appointment of Kamal Lawal, a non-indegine, as the institution's legal adviser.
