Inject Key Changes In Super Eagles’ Squad – Amuneke

Ahead of the Super Eagles 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Seychelles, an erstwhile Nigeria international, Emmanuel Amuneke, has advised the team's head coach, Gernot Rohr, to inject more creative midfielders and sharp attackers in the squad.

The Super Eagles players failed to make it out of the group stage in the on-going 2018 FIFA world cup in Russia.

Consequently, Amuneke, coach of the Nigerian U-17 team that won the world cup in Chile in 2015, counselled that Rohr's boys must improve in the midfield and attack.

Amuneke said: "There were lots of positives from the tournament on the part of the Super Eagles which they must build on just like the creative aspect and the attack.”
