Oh No, Calabar Now Stinks Fantastically

 Calabar, the Cross River State Capital had, over the years, carved a niche for itself as the cleanest city in Nigeria. With its tourism inclination, former governor of the state, Donald Duke, committed huge funds into waste management as a way of maintaining the state's revered status as the cleanest city in the country. In fact, effective and prompt refuse disposal was one of the cardinal objectives of Duke's administration as he did everything humanly possible to ensure that the city was kept clean at all times.
