Between Multiple Taskforces And Ease Of Doing Business in Rivers

To residents of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, the nuisance that different shades of thugs, hooligans, and street urchins constitute in the city under the guise of taskforce is a well-known and ugly experience. Every part of the city has its own fair share of these nuisance peddlers. Either they are harassing motorists or molesting hapless citizens or impounding the wares of roadside traders. In all, the city is the worse off as their nefarious activities have helped upscale the difficulty in doing business in the state.

Much Ado About Ayade's Garment Factory

The news started spreading like wildfire early this year when it went viral, that the Cross River Garment Factory actually belongs to Prof Ben Ayade, the state governor. Interestingly, the factory project was one of the signature projects of the governor. Shortly after taking his oath of office as governor, Ayade made some startling pronouncements as he gave the people an idea of what he wanted to achieve in Cross River State.
