Redundancy: Daewoo Workers Drag Firm To Rivers Assembly

For allegedly laying off its plant operators without recourse to extant labour laws, Daewoo Nigeria Limited could be on the threshold of witnessing turbulent days ahead as aggrieved members of the National Association of Plant Operators (NAPO) have dragged the company before the Rivers State House of Assembly and vowed to sustain the pressure until vices in the company are exposed.


EFCC, ICPC Partner TNN On Anti-Corruption Fight

Two anti-graft agencies have indicated readiness to partner the awards winning Niger Delta regional newspaper, TNN to drive the anti-corruption crusade of the current administration in the region. Both organizations expressed commitment to liaise with TNN to better inform the public about the gains of the fight against corruption and their efforts at enthroning public rectitude and ethical values in the society.
