Hold Akpabio If Anything Happens To Us-PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Essien Udim Chapter has called on Nigerians and security agencies to hold Senator Godswill Akpabio and his team responsible for any casualties that may occur to stakeholders of the (PDP) in the local government area. The party made the call at the press centre in Uyo, during a press briefing, addressed by the party's stakeholders.

Mr Imo-owo Okpokpo, who read the communiqué on behalf of the party, pointed out that they were aware that Akpabio had some squad ready to kill any PDP Stakeholders in Essien Udim Local Government Area opposed to him.

He stressed that during the governorship and house of assembly elections, Akpabio and his team beat up and macheted the PDP chapter chairman, Cyril Udoh ,while they inflicted others with severe injuries.

“Even the result claimed to have been released in 2 Wards of Adiasim and Ukana East are fake and do not represent the votes of the Electorate", the party alleged, adding that the party has rejected the results of the two Wards Adiasim and Ukana East describing it as procured under duress.

Meanwhile leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Essien Udim Local Government Area have described the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 9th March 2019 election as a pyrrhic victory which  will be overturn in their favour at the election tribunal.
