Ebri Now APC Leader In C'River

A former governor, Chief Clement Ebri is now the leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River state.

He was unanimously made the leader of the party at the inauguration of the party's state caucus in Calabar.

National Vice Chairman, South-south, Ntufam Hilliard Eta, nominated Chief Ebri for the position and it was unanimously endorsed by members of the caucus shortly after their inauguration by Ntufam Eta.

State chairman of the party, Dr. Matthew Achigbe is the chairman of the caucus while the state secretary of the party, Bishop Victor Ebong also doubles as secretary of the caucus.

The caucus comprise past governors, past lawmakers, serving and past chairmen of the party and many others.

The caucus serves as an advisory body that helps the state party exco functions properly.
