Deacon Alexandar Tom Umoh, a minister in Udom Emmanuel’s Qua Iboe Church has been kidnapped from the Ikot Akpa Idem branch church in Ukanafun, Akwa Ibom State.
Also, kidnapped on Monday was Pastor Mfon Akpan Udo Nneke, a pastor of the Apostolic Church in the same village and cousin of the proprietor of the Sure Foundation Polytechnic, Idung Nneke, Dr Idongesit Umoh who was kidnapped last year and his right hand chopped off before the kidnappers released him after taking their ransom.
Udo Nneke, Area Superintendent of The Apostolic Church, Ikot Akpa Idem was said to have been kidnapped at 5 a.m. by the gunmen while he was preparing for Women Fellowship prayer meeting.
A family source said the gunmen numbering more than three, came and whisked the pastor away into their waiting vehicle before he could raise the alarm.
So far, the abductors have not contacted the family, neither is the man’s whereabouts known.
Also, the whereabouts of Umoh who is also a businessman, remains unknown. and minister.
This came two days after Mrs. Okon Monday Joseph from Ikot Akpa Idem whose son is a driver to NsikakAbasi Umoekpo, Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel was released after the payment of N500,000 ransom by the family.
Police image maker in the state, Diko O. Macdon, however said he was yet to be informed about the kidnap.
