With Music, We Can Restore Sanity In Rivers”

Mr. Joshua Elemuwa, a Port Harcourt based artiste has called on entertainers in Rivers State to come together and find ways of working with the government to improve on the already tensed security situation in the state.

Joshua made this assertion during an interview with TNN, shortly after the entertainers visited the governor, where they declared support to his government.

The march tagged "Rivers State Entertainers Victory Road Show," led by Jikume Bethlehem, was staged to appreciate the governor for his numerous investments in the entertainment industry.

Elemuwa said“the march is indeed a welcome development, it's our own little way of showing our support to Governor Nyesom Wike who has been very supportive, creating platforms for Rivers based entertainers even though most of us are robbed of those platforms”

“Rivers state entertainers platform is channelled into one man's pocket, who selfishly decides the Who's to appear on stage and those not qualified according to his judgment but fortunately it's a usual thing in Nigeria”.

“First, Rivers state entertainers should unite, the industry is divided, let's come together, we should use our lyrics to campaign for the return of sanity to this state in the area of security, any issue of general concerns, we can sink in the message with our songs. I'm sure we will be doing the state and ourselves a favour by doing that.”
