Ijaw Musician, Barrister Smooth’s Song On Amassoma Riot Causes Ripples, King Kicks

Most Ijaw people, including the king of the ancient town of Amassoma, are not happy with the music legend, Barrister Smooth, over the release of a song on the recent crisis in Amassoma.

The people have urged him to stop further action on the song, just as the Amananaowei of Amassoma, HRH Major Graham Pere-Ebimo Naimgba(rtd), has warned against attempts to ignite fresh tension and deepen the unfortunate crisis that recently engulfed Amassoma, a host community to the Niger Delta University, through the new release.
