The recent electrocution of a student of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) prompted his course mates and others in the engineering department to storm the Governor's Office on Diamond Hill, Calabar, in protest. The incident is one electrocution too many, coming barely a few months after eight football fans were electrocuted at Nyakasang when a high tension cable fell on the makeshift viewing centre and led to a huge fire outbreak.
